Welcome to Happy Corner Church of the Brethren

Happy Corner Church of the Brethren is a community of believers in Jesus Christ who seek together to continue Jesus' New Testament work in the world and in our lives. We believe in the empowerment of God's Spirit to lead us forward in the vision that God has placed upon us ... a vision rooted in community.

From the outset of our history, the Church of the Brethren has been dedicated to the idea that the gathered community best interprets and displays the work of the Holy Spirit in the world. Because of this, believers in the Church of the Brethren have always placed a high value on relationships, not only with God, but also others within the faith community. This relationship can be witnessed not only in the way we worship; but also in the areas of fellowship, service, and dedication to fulfilling the call of God.

Happy Corner Church of the Brethren follows in this tradition by seeking to provide a strong community orientation to how we practice our faith. We seek to maintain our identity as a peace church dedicated to Christian discipleship, Believer's baptism, and a dependence upon the Holy Spirit for guidance. We believe in the idea that everyone in the body is called to share his/her gifts with Christ, the gathered community, and the world abroad.

If you are seeking a faith community in which you can explore your God-given gifts and grow together in a community of believers, we invite you to join us. Like any community, we are not perfect, but we believe that we are on a journey to become more of what God has called us to.  Will you join us on this journey?

Our Building

We are located on the corner of Union and Old Salem Roads in Clayton, Ohio.  Our Main Entrance faces the front of our property and has dual columns framing the entrance.  Our church is conveniently located on spacious ground with ample parking.  Inside you'll find a welcoming worship center, a large activity center (gym), and many comfortable classroom/meeting rooms.  Our nursery is clean and safe.  It's staffed by loving people during Sunday school and Worship hours.  We strive to fill our church every day with vital community activities.  Reaching out to others in Christian service is the focal point of our ministry.

Our facility is available for family gatherings, private parties, meeting rooms, and athletics.  Call the church office (937) 836-1204 or email us for more information.
